Memo 3 Done; Other Notes

I turned in Memo 3 today! I feel proud of what I turned in, but I'm glad not to have to think about the Eighth amendment for a while. Unfortunately, there's no rest for the weary: Memo 4 is assigned tomorrow, and finals are rapidly approaching. I have my contracts outline all but finished, but my Torts and Property outlines are barely started and I haven't yet begun working on a Civ Pro outline. I still feel like I'm in good shape, but I have a lot of work to get done in the next couple weeks.

I attended a law review meeting today. 30 students from my class will be accepted to the law review, 15 will grade on and 15 will write on. The students with the top 15 GPA's will automatically be offered a spot. The other 15 will essentially win a writing contest. Students will have 3 weeks following finals to draft a 10 page supreme court opinion on a Constitutional issue. All the necessary materials and cases will be provided. I plan on giving it my best shot. Unfortunately, we won't know whether we'll be offered a spot until the beginning of fall semester.
